It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that the Gallery was a mere “glimmer of hope” in the eyes of the Guild founders and consisted of nothing but cement block walls. With the sweat, toil and dedication of Guild members and our landlord, we made it through the construction process with
The Gallery has been up and running since our Grand Opening in December, 2010, displaying the fine arts and fine crafts of Guild members. It boasts a bright and airy classroom for instruction, as well as serving as a gathering place for members and guests alike. The Gallery also has a space dedicated to future expansion for a Clay and Pottery room.
Our Gallery garden is another product of the dedication and hard work of Guild members, featuring not only perennial plantings, but also a waterfall which was donated by the Swartz Creek Veterinary Hospital. Long-range plans include the additional planting of trees and shrubs.
Gallery Hours: Tues, Wed, Thurs: noon to 5pm; Fri: 3-7pm; Sat: noon to 4pm.
